The West Norfolk Disabled Angling Club '97 provides a purpose-built venue, to help disabled people enjoy fishing in secure and pleasant surroundings. This website has been created as a user-friendly source of information, for both club members and interested anglers alike.
Just as at the lake, you will find an online notice/bulletin board. This will contain all up to date announcements that will affect the club and it's members, and also fixtures at the venue for the upcoming year. The Club Notice Board can be found by clicking on "Club News".
If you'd like to become a club website member, simply click the "Log-in" button located at the bottom of this page. As a member you'll be kept up to date, and it only takes minutes to register and costs nothing to join, so why not become a member today?! This means you'll be among the first to know about any events happening at the venue.
Having trouble finding your way around the website?! Please click here to contact the club's Webmaster for help.
We're now also available via WAP on your mobile phone, so you can now keep up-to-date on the move. Remember to bookmark us.

Due to bad health, I'm afraid this coming week's match has had to be cancelled. Thank you for your understanding.
It’s been a while I know. My apologies for no updates being posted, but sadly with ongoing serious family health issues there has been little or no time to post.
Anyway, here are the results from The Webmaster Challenge match which took place on 16/09/15.
1st Mr. Hornigold 360 points
2nd Mr. Pook 192 points
3rd Mr. Smith 68 points
Rather than weight, this match was calculated by a points system to give everyone an equal chance of winning. Catching a carp would get you 10 points, tench 8, bream 6, rudd, roach and perch 4, and a wildcard fish like barbel, chub, eels, zander or pike 12. A big thank you to all who attended the match.
Sorry there hasn't been a match report for last Wednesday's match. I'd like to thank everyone who helped me while I stood in for Craig, it was very much appreciated. Last week's results are as follows;

Read about how it all went at Wednesday's charity match in aid of Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital. Photo's are also available to view.
It has come to the club's attention, that a bogus Facebook page has been setup in the club's name. Please ignore any information given by the page called West norfolk disabled angling club, it is NOT legitimate! The correct page for the club is Wndac Angling. Only Wndac Angling and www.wndac.moonfruit.com are supported by the club.
Sorry for the slight delay folks.
You can now find last week's match report and results ready to read by visiting the website's club noticeboard. Don't forget that tomorrow's match is in aid of Great Ormond Street Hospital. Ttfn

Craig has given me a fresh date for renewing your membership. The date I've been given is Wednesday 15th April, and will take place between 5:30 - 7:30pm upstairs in the bar area of Lynnsport. Please take advantage of the supplied dates and times!
I have a bit of good news folks! I've not long been informed by Craig, that the matches are commencing from tomorrow. I apologise for the short notice. I can also confirm that the membership renewal will be going ahead from 5:30 - 7:30 pm, upstairs in the bar area of Lynnsport. Please check with Craig for available spaces.
For those of you who noticed, I've now corrected the mistakes to the match fixtures. There's always something isn't there lol?!
Hi there folks,
Just to let you know, that you can now find the new 2015/16 membership prices and this year's special matches on their associated pages.
Sorry for the delay in letting you know, but word has got back to me that this week's match will not be going ahead after all. I was going to be standing in for Craig, but he feels more comfortable leaving it for the time being. Please check back on our Match Fixtures page from Wednesday 1st April. My apologies for any inconvenience caused.
It's me again,
Let me start off with a bit of bad news I'm afraid. I've not long been informed by Craig, that the membership renewal scheduled for Sunday 5th April won't be going ahead, as Lynnsport will be closed for the Easter break. Sorry about any inconvenience that may cause and I'll post on the website noticeboard as soon as I get any updates. Now something for your diary. Matches will commence from Wednesday 1st April, don't worry about your membership being out of date, it will remain valid until the last renewal date if you haven't renewed in the meantime. I'll be standing in for Craig, but don't let that put you off! Please spread the word! If you're an existing member and would like to book a place text or ring me on 07881635935. See you then!
No the committee haven't all vanished in a great big puff of smoke! Like many of you, we're all busy preparing for the new season, and it will soon be time to renew that membership! If you're uncertain of the renewal dates, they can be found on the website's noticeboard. As well as renewing your membership, it won't be long before it's time to wet those lines as our matches start getting underway soon, so watch this space for any announcements.
Just a quick note to let you know, that the 2015 membership renewal dates can be found on the Club Notice Board located on the "Club News" page. Please make sure to check them?!
Hi there folks,
Well it doesn't seem very long ago that we were last at out our A.G.M., but here we are again! For those of you new to the club, this is our annual open to all general meeting, where members get a chance to discuss issues related to W.N.D.A.C. All members are invited to attend on Sunday 22nd February at 6pm promptly, and will be held in The Wembley Room located upstairs in Lynnsport. On the evening, raffle tickets will be available to purchase for the raffle draw that will be held at the mid-session interval, with all proceeds going towards the running of the club. If you have any prizes you'd like to donate towards the raffle, all will be gratefully received (sadly we cannot accept wives, children, or annoying pets). See you then.
Hey there folks,
I'd like to apologise to those who have had issues downloading the club's information pack from the "About Us" page. The server had somehow deleted the file, but this has now been resolved and can now be downloaded again. Sorry for any inconvenience caused.
Due to cold weather conditions and Craig's poor health, there will be no further matches this year. However, we look forward to seeing you next year, when the weather has improved. Please keep checking back here for next years match start dates. Stay safe and warm, and thank you for your understanding.
Hello everyone, Tomorrow's match is going to be a bit of a strange one, so have an abacus at the ready! Just to mix things up, the match winner will be the one with the most fish, rather than weight. I'm sure it will be a fun day, if not a bit complicated at weighing in time, but that will add to the spectacle! See you there.
It's me again, This weeks scheduled match won't be going ahead as list in your books or on the website. Instead, there will be a specially sponsored match. Perhaps we'll see you down there tomorrow.
Hi folks, Just to let you all know, that you can now read the match report, and see photos from last weeks Tony Hewitt/Macmillan Cancer Support Match. I hope you enjoy them.
Due to vandalism and swims being left in a terrible condition, night fishing will no longer be allowed, and the lake will be shut from 9:00pm every evening. If you see any suspicious activities after this time, please report the matter to Craig immediately. Thank you for your understanding.
Hi everyone, Just to remind you all, that this week's match is the Tony Hewitt Memorial/Macmillan Cancer Support Match. Entry to the match is £10 on the day, but any donations will be gratefully received, and all money received will go to our local Macmillan unit. Look forward to seeing you there.
It's me again,
It's on ya bike time, as this week's match is sponsored by Wilf's Whizzy Wheels. From what I've been told, there are rumours that first prize may be a bike! It will be wheelie exciting to see! Wheel the puns get any better?! Perhaps I spoke too soon! Anyway, see you on the day.
Craig has asked me to thank all the people who turned up for the clean up day, that was initially cancelled but then went ahead after all. He was not feeling to clever and had only gone to trim the hedge, but to have five people turn up and get stuck in was wonderful, and a lot was achieved. So many thanks again to all who helped.
Hi folks, I've been asked by Craig to let everyone know, that tomorrow's clean up day is off due to bad health. My apologies for the late notice, but neither of us are in a position to do anything at the moment. I'll let you know if this will affect any more matches. Thank you for your understanding.
Here are last week's match results. I've posted photos in the usual place, and I think you'll agree when you see photos, It's really good to see carp being caught again.
The winners were as follows;

2nd Mr. T Shanley 3lb 15oz

After reports of cormorants being seen at the club lake, could we please ask club members who spot a cormorant at the lake to report your sighting as quickly as possible. Please call Craig on his usual number, or report it through the website via the "Contact Us" tab. Can I stress how important it is to report any sighting, because at the end of the day, it effects everyone when they've eaten all our stocks.
Sorry for the delay folks, but I've just received the match results and photographs for the last three weeks. I still haven't got the Geoff Whitworth report and photo's, but as soon as I do I'll pop them on.

I have been asked to post the following statement by our Club Chairman.
Saturday was an organized clean up day at the lake. As usual, the attendees were the Chairman, his helper, and Mr. Knight and his son. I, the Chairman, am totally disgusted with the members of this club who were in a position to come and help but didn't. They are more than happy just to sit on the bank and catch the fish that have been recently stocked. A motion of intent will be proposed at our next A.G.M. to change membership, to include a commitment of at least one attendance on our clean up days for able-bodied and OAP categories of membership. Sadly, people are quick to moan about the state of the lake, weed, carp etc. Instead, show your support by actually lending a hand!
Hello again, just a quick reminder that this week's match is a maggots only. So put away that groundbait, sweetcorn, and those pellets and worms, if it's not maggots, you can't use it! The most important thing is that you enjoy yourself though. See you there.
Some more results folks!

2nd Mr. R Nicholls 3lb 8oz

Hello everyone. Don't forget that this weeks match is the Great Ormond Street Hospital charity match. There's a £10 entrance fee, but be assured, all proceeds go to the charity. All donations will be gratefully received on the day. It might be worth bringing a brolly on the day, as showers are forecast. See you Wednesday.
Hi folks, just a quick reminder that this week's match will be a Whip Only match. You'll only be allowed a telescopic whip of up to 5m and it must have a flick tip end on it (no elastication). See you on Wednesday!
Well it's that time of year again folks, time to renew your club memberships! You can see the renewal dates on the club notice board located in the "Club News" section.
Bacon sandwiches are my fav for fishing trips! Mmmmm!
If you were going on a fishing trip, what food would you prefer to eat? A Cheese & Pickle sarnie, a nice Crusty Pork Pie, or a Pot Noodle?! Perhaps you prefer something else, let me know!
Here's a nifty little addition to the website. Here you can post your fishy thoughts, and see important news. When I'm able to debug some problems I'm having, you'll find a new panel with the ability to post your catch photo's.
Bye for now.
